Papercrane
Ads Manager can't total it: it scores each ad inside its own ad group, and your best video runs in five of them. Papercrane pulls your TikTok Ads reports, totals every creative across the account, and keeps the answer on a live dashboard beside Shopify and GA4.

TikTok's own guidance says refresh creative every 3 to 7 days, so every week you decide which videos get budget and which get cut. This board is the first dashboard Papercrane's agent builds from your account: every creative totaled across every ad group it runs in.
Creative board, this week
| Creative | Days live | Spend, all ad groups | TikTok reported CPA | 7 day trend | Freq | The call |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator unboxing, hook B | 4 | $6,200 | $19 | holding | 1.8 | Scale |
| Founder story v2 | 9 | $4,400 | $27 | CTR down from peak | 2.7 | New hook |
| Problem/solution demo | 12 | $2,900 | $41 | falling | 3.1 | Kill |
| GRWM cut, new audio | 2 | $1,150 | $22 | too early | 1.2 | Hold |
Fatigue flags on this board: CTR down 20% or more from its own peak, frequency past 2.5.
The verdicts follow the fatigue thresholds you already watch, and you can change them by asking. CPA stays labeled TikTok reported, because that's what it is.
Both numbers are real measurements of different things: TikTok counts every conversion its windows and view through rules let it claim, your store counts orders that exist. Papercrane won't referee with a made up blended number; connect both and the agent shows you exactly why they disagree, order by order.

Same week, same store, all real measurements.
Which orders TikTok and your other channels both claim, matched by order ID where the platforms record one, not correlated by day.
What your conversion event actually counts. Campaigns optimized to add to cart report carts as conversions, and that alone explains some “TikTok says 142, store says 0” weeks.
What changed when the attribution window did.
Spend is a fact. Claimed conversions are claims. Dashboards here label them as what they are.
Total my top video across every ad group and campaign it runs in.
Which creatives are past day 7 and still spending?
Which hooks are decaying: CTR down from peak, frequency above 2.5?
What did we spend per advertiser account last week, one page per client?
How does TikTok reported revenue compare with what Shopify actually recorded?
Put TikTok and Meta spend against total store revenue by week, spend as its own line, never allocated.
Every answer comes back as a chart on a hosted dashboard that refreshes on its own.
1. Connect with read access you approve on TikTok's screen
2. Ask a question
3. Papercrane's agent plans the queries and builds a hosted dashboard
4. It stays live, and errors route back to the agent automatically
Run more than one advertiser account? Connect each one and address it by name in the same conversation: one board per client, or one roll up across all of them.
| The job | Ads Manager custom columns | The export spreadsheet | TikTok Ads + Papercrane |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total a creative across ad groups | One ad group at a time | Pivot table, every week | Asked once, kept live |
| Spot fatigue before CPA does | You, watching daily | Last week's numbers by the time it's built | Trend and frequency flags on the board |
| Compare claims with store orders | Not its job | Paste in Shopify exports too | Joins Shopify and GA4, orders next to claims joins Shopify and GA4 |
| Client or team access | Add them to the ad account | Email the file, now there are five versions | Send a link to a live dashboard |
| When a number looks wrong | Rebuild the columns | Find the broken formula | Errors route back to the agent |
When you don't need us
If you run one advertiser account and check it daily, Ads Manager's custom columns already show hook rate, CTR, and frequency for free: set them up and keep your money. If creative analytics is your whole job at six figure monthly spend, Motion is a purpose built product with visual creative boards and video breakdowns we don't try to match, and pixel products like Triple Whale exist to argue attribution, which we deliberately don't. Papercrane is worth paying for when the answer spans TikTok plus your store, your analytics, or your other channels, or when the report has to live somewhere a client or a team checks every week.
Most TikTok advertisers connect their store next, for the orders TikTok's numbers get compared against, then GA4 for site traffic and Meta to run the same board across channels.
Connect your TikTok Ads account, ask which creatives deserve budget this week, and get the board back as a live dashboard.
